Detailed Description

This xApp leverages the O-RAN standardized RAN Control (RC) service model to retrieve neighbor cell information and coordinate mobility decisions across the RAN. It supports multiple handover scenarios, including (i) F1AP-based handover between DUs, (ii) Intra-cell handover between cells within the same RAN node, and (iii) Xn-based handover between RAN nodes. By collaborating with performance monitoring xApps, the system evaluates resource utilization, cell load, and network conditions to determine optimal handover timing and target cell selection.
