Detailed Description
This rApp generates and sends load-balancing policies to the Non-RT RIC via the R1 interface. The Non-RT RIC forwards these policies to the Near-RT RIC over the A1 interface, where a corresponding xApp enforces them at the gNB through the E2 interface. This end-to-end workflow enables the creation and control of network slices with defined maximum downlink PRB allocation in the RAN.
Key Features
- O-RAN A1 and R1 interface compliant
- Near real-time slicing policy enforcement
- Centralized management of network slicing policies
- Cloud-native rApp architecture for scalability and portability
Use Cases
- Dynamic slice-aware load balancing across cells
- Centralized RAN slicing policy control
